# Blast Gold

**What is Blast Gold?**

**Blast Gold** is a different type of Points that the Blast team distributes manually to smart contracts over time, based on various factors such as the dapp's traction, TVL, and how well the dapp utilizes Blast-native features. The distribution occurs every 2-3 weeks. 

**Earning Blast Points with Insrt**

**Snapshot Distribution**: A snapshot was taken on the 28th of March that captured all Mint attempts conducted by users from the launch of Insrt on Blast up to 28th of March at 7:00 PM EST (Block Number 1428485). Gold from this snapshot has been distributed on the 28th of March, with a users' allocation being determined by their total minting volume in proportion to the total volume that was spent on minting.  

100% of Gold that Insrt receives is passed on to $MINT holders.
